What’s Next?
What’s Next:
            I believe the next step for my product would be the implementation of it into the Library West and finally satisfy the needs students have been having for many years now. What has been expressed to me since before is that students would feel more motivated going to study at the library knowing their guaranteed to have a booth and be provided with the comfortable that it brings which will benefit them by getting their studies done in a school environment.

Existing Market Interviews:
After interviewing my three target market members, I concluded a common theme throughout the course of the interviews. Two of them currently use Library West as their study place of choice and the third likes to go to Newell. The two that go to Library West think the implementation of the single-seater booth is something that beyond excited them and think that should be the next step for my product. The girl who chooses Newell as her place of choice expressed that she would love to see a booth in the library in general because there is no currently.

Reflection:
After deciding for myself what I think the next move for my company should be and what the Interviewees expressed to me, I think it is safe to say that the implementation of the single-sear booth should be my next goal within my company. 
I also think, which was clearly expressed by the third girl I interviewed, is take into consideration the idea of implementing the products to other libraries around campus because not everyone chooses to go to Library West for their place of study, but would love the opportunity to be provided with a booth to complete their studies.

New Market:
A new market that could benefit from my product that I had not thought of before could be selling to other businesses to use for their offices. My target market initially was selling to University campuses, but I think a market that would benefit as well could be offices. Workers usually spend around 8-9 hours a day working in their offices and would probably love the comfort of working in a booth to get their work done. 
New Market Interviews:
            For my interviews I chose to call two different business owners asking their opinion of the product and if pitching the idea to them was a good choice. One of the interviewees expressed to me that maybe instead a booth setup, I can alter the design while keeping the comfort and outlets into a desk-like setup for the employees. They both agreed that this would be a very great addition to their companies and can boost employee morale.
Reflection
I think this market could be a great potential for me in the future, but currently after analyzing what the companies expressed to me it would take a lot of financing and product innovation to get the product these markets desire. They want a product that is similar to a desk, so employees do not get distracted, but still provide the comfort and utilities the booths I’ve already created have. 
            Overall, I think this could be a great market to look into in the future, but for now would take a lot of time out of me going for my initial existing market. I would like to continue forward with the market I already am targeting and leave this new market for the potential future.

  1. Hi Sydney. This is a really interesting idea, and I think your new market might be a great think to continue to consider. I know that large corporations typically have an area for employees to relax, have meetings, get work done, etc. I definitely could see people using your product as a way to improve their work environment and it will allow you to expand outside of schools and universities, broadening your market.
