Elevator Pitch No.3

Elevator Pitch No.3 Elevator Pitch https://youtu.be/uD0wmmhG7NI Reflection Overall, this elevator pitch was pretty easy for me to do since we've been practicing and the second attempt was close behind this one. I felt confident in the idea I was selling and think I was able to include interview comments, uniqueness, and a implementation plan for the product. Feedback For my last pitch I had to upload it to youtube and clicked the wrong tab. I had selected private instead of unlisted to only make people with the link can view it, so I was able to go in and fix that and not make the same mistake for this pitch so I can gather some more constructive feedback.

Reading Reflection No.2

Reading Reflection No.2 1.      What was the general theme or argument of the book? -         This book was very fascinating for me to read and I am very glad I chose this book out of all of them. The general theme in the book,  The Art of Social Media,  was how to present yourself/your business on various social media platforms to get consumers to engage with you more proactively.  2.      How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003? -         I think this book tied in very well with ENT3003 because this class is all about learning to be a successful entrepreneur and presenting yourself, which is the core of this book except with an online presence to it.  3.      If you had to design an exercise for this class, based on the book you read, what would that exercise involve? ...

Growing your Social Capital

Growing your Social Capital Domain Expert 1) Who they are and what their background is ·        My domain expert name is Samantha Garcia and she is a sales representative at a chair/office furniture company 2) Which 'slot' you are filling with each person (i.e., domain expert, market expert, supplier), and how the person fills the spot. ·        Samantha is a domain expert because she has experience in office furniture sales which is similar to my idea of selling booths in Library West 3) A description of how you found the person and contacted the person. ·        I googled common sites that sell common furniture like City Furniture and El Dorado because they have experience in selling the type of merchandise, I would like to sell 4) The nature of the exchange you have with the person -- what favor did they do for you? What is the return expectation?  ·    ...

Elevator Pitch No.2

Assignment 17A: Elevator Pitch No.2 Elevator Pitch : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sn4V-6hrc0c&feature=youtu.be Feedback : I think the people who took the time to comment on my last post gave me great tips that I was able to implement into this elevator pitch. I found insightful how a couple students expressed to me how they enjoyed my takings from interviews and using it to make myself credible in the pitch, so I mace sure I did that again as well as add more references to give myself more credibility. Changes : I fixed my background lighting since that seemed to be a bit of a distraction in the last pitch and I also stopped moving my hands so much. I somewhat kept the same speech format, but just made sure to fix those minor background and motion details.

Creating a Customer Avatar

Assignment 18A: Creating a Customer Avatar             For the purpose of this blog, I think I will talk about the individuals who be interested in the product I think will benefit the UF student body as a whole. The typical individual I see using my product would be a male or female, either an undergraduate or graduate student, who finds leaving their apartment to a more studious area, such as Library West, more beneficial. This student takes their studies rather series, and usually plans on spending multiple hours in Library West working on lengthy assignments or studying for an upcoming exam. I can also see this student choosing to come use my product for the space the booth provides, allowing them to work more comfortably. Also, a student may use this product to study with others, and collaborate in a studious, conversation type environment. What I Have in Common : I am extremely studious during the semester and ...

Figuring Out Buying Behavior No.2

Figuring Out Buying Behavior No.2 Interview findings and conclusions:             After conducting my interviews with three new prospective clients for the potential product, they brought some new views in the idea of adding more booths Library West that I had not seen before. Interview 1 had told me not only should we make an addition on the third floor but offer this selection on each floor with different volume levels. I thought this was a great insight because maybe people on different floors would like the opportunity to study in a comfortable booth,             After my second interview, she brought in another view of how much more she would feel motivated actually going to the library to study rather than staying home and being distracted. If people were guaranteed the comfort of a booth to study, they would automatically feel more inclined to actually go...
