Final Reflection

Final Reflection
1) Read through your posts from this semester. Recall all of the experiences you've had a long the way -- the highs, the lows -- the fun moments, and the moments of drudgery, and even the moments of dread.

2) What sticks out to you as the most formative experience? The experience that you'll remember years later? What was your most joyous experience? What experience are you most proud of yourself for accomplishing?
-       This class most definitely challenged me to go very into detail about my business venture and keep making corrections and implement feedback consistently to make my project better which in the long run is very beneficial
3) At the beginning of the semester, I mentioned that I wanted each of you to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. Now, at the end, do you see yourself as an entrepreneur? Do you think you have moved closer to developing an entrepreneurial mindset?
-       I most definitely see myself with more of an entrepreneurial mindset because this course and each blog post most definitely challenged me in the best ways to keep on growing

4) What is the one recommendation you would make to the students who are going to journey down this path in the future? What would you recommend they do to perform best in this course? What would you recommend they do to foster that mindset?
-       One of the best friends is actually going to take this course now in the summer and I told her to just stay on track with all the deadlines, and be aware that the deadline is noon Friday not midnight, and it shouldn’t be too bad to stay afloat

-       Also, make sure to just watch lectures to complete the weekly cupcake and it doesn’t get any more complicated than those three things!

  1. Hi Sydney!
Sad to think this is my last peer review on your business for this class. All the time you spent planning, writing, and interviewing others is something you should be proud of. I 100% agree with the tips you gave to future students in this class, how they should stay ahead of the many deadlines, and never forget to watch lectures. Hopefully, you continue to develop every trait you have worked to build throughout this class.
Thank you for putting time into this assignment!

  2. Hello Sydney!

Thank you for sharing and great job on this!

I also agreed in my post that I do view myself as exhibiting more characteristics of an entrepreneur. I would be interested to know if you view yourself as an entrepreneur as well - not just exhibiting some characteristics.

Moreover, I also stated that the noon deadlines are a big thing to note! Especially for assignments in which interviews are needed to be completed. I wish your friend the best of luck in the class - I’m sure she will do great with your advice!

    Best,

    Caitlyn Torres

  3. Hi Sydney,

I agree with Caitlyn's comments, the highlighting of deadlines and preparing accordingly was a key recommendation I included in my post. Watching lectures is easier said than done, but makes a big difference in succeeding in cupcakes or not. I was surprised at how specific some of those cupcake Q's were. I would be interested in knowing if what you learned about entrepreneurship in this class was different in teaching you how to grow compared to other things you've read or heard about how to grow. How did understanding entrepreneurship impact you differently?
