Reading Reflection No.2

1.    What was the general theme or argument of the book?

-       This book was very fascinating for me to read and I am very glad I chose this book out of all of them. The general theme in the book, The Art of Social Media, was how to present yourself/your business on various social media platforms to get consumers to engage with you more proactively. 

2.    How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003?

-       I think this book tied in very well with ENT3003 because this class is all about learning to be a successful entrepreneur and presenting yourself, which is the core of this book except with an online presence to it. 

3.    If you had to design an exercise for this class, based on the book you read, what would that exercise involve?

-       I think the idea of a blog, the weekly ones we do, was an excellent tool to compliment the book. Also, adding a feature of making an Instagram page to really emphasize the idea that blogs and social media pages should talk to each other is a cool way to practice that.

4.    What was your biggest surprise or 'aha' moment when reading the book? In other words, what did you learn that differed most from your expectations?

-       I think just the way they said social media has such a great influence on our audience, and they really do see every little thing we choose to upload, so it is best to keep things under our control and very interactive with our audiences.
